NCSI implements poll on satisfaction with government services

6 May 2024 NCSI implements poll on satisfaction with government services

Muscat – The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) launched the second edition of an opinion poll today to measure satisfaction with government services across the governorates of Oman. The poll will run until May 30, 2024.

The poll aims to measure satisfaction with government services provided by governors’ offices in general and municipal services, as well as the extent to which satisfaction with these services has changed in each governorate. These opinions will be compared to the results of the first edition of the same survey, which the NCSI conducted at the end of 2023.

Based on the poll’s results, the NCSI will formulate six basic indicators for each governorate, including the general satisfaction index, the satisfaction index of hygiene and public health services in the governorate, the satisfaction index of the governorate’s efforts in market management and control, the satisfaction index of the governorate’s development efforts, the satisfaction index of the management and maintenance of parks, and the satisfaction index of electronic government services in governors’ offices.

It is worth noting that this poll is conducted semi-annually. Data is collected through e-questionnaires completed via telephone interviews.
