Muscat – The Ministry of Health signed an agreement on Thursday to finance development of an accident and emergency room (ER) and provide dialysis services at Mirbat Hospital in Dhofar.

Supported by Petroleum Development Oman, Sembcorp Salalah Company, Salalah Mills Company, Muscat Overseas Company and Bank Muscat, the project spans an area of 600sqm and costs around RO410,000.

The agreement was signed by H E Fatma Mohammed al Ajmi, Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial Affairs and Planning in the Ministry of Health, and Hamdan Hamad al Junaibi, Governor of Mirbat, with representatives of the companies financing the project.
