Salalah – Starting Monday, Razat Farm in Salalah will offer a tourist trail on Royal Orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

The initiative is designed to position the farm as a destination where visitors can explore agricultural landscapes – tropical and perennial trees, fruit orchards, vegetables farms and dairy farming.

Officials said the farm’s operations are managed according to technical and scientific standards, offering visitors insight into modern farming methods. ‘The aim is to provide an experience that combines agriculture with tourism,’ Royal Court Affairs stated. ‘It reflects the importance of this sector in development and in supporting food security.’

The trail will take visitors on guided bus tours, beginning at an outdoor reception hall and moving through several points before reaching an integrated facility equipped with visitor services.

Royal Court Affairs noted that the project is part of efforts to expand agritourism in Dhofar and to highlight agriculture’s role in economic diversification. ‘This trail will contribute to opening new opportunities for agricultural tourism in Oman.’

Tickets for the farm trail can be booked in advance through razatfarm.gov.om with reservations opening on Sunday.
