Muscat – The Ministry of Labour (MoL) signed a cooperation programme with National Technology Group to offer on-the-job training to national cadres on Thursday.

The cooperation programme was signed by H E Sayyid Salim Musallam al Busaidi, Undersecretary for Human Resources Development in MoL, and Hilal Hamad al Busaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of National Technology Group.

On the occasion, H E Sayyid Salim pointed out that the ministry is implementing various training programmes. “Several programmes will be directed to governorates during the year to support administrative decentralisation and offer job opportunities to Omani youth.”

On his turn, Mohammed al Rasibi, CEO of National Technology Group, informed that there are 40 trainees in the second batch of the programme. The third batch will include approximately 60 trainees in various fields, many from information technology.
