Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, issued a Royal pardon granting freedom to a group of prisoners convicted of various offences.

A total of 459 inmates, comprising both citizens and foreign nationals, had the honor of receiving this Royal pardon. This benevolent gesture by His Majesty coincided with the occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday for the year 1448 AH and was extended out of consideration for the families of these prisoners.
