Muscat – Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), through the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center, has issued weather alerts and potential warnings for Tuesday, August 25. Medium intensity thunderstorms are expected to begin at 12:00 PM in parts of the Al Hajar Mountains and neighboring areas. Additionally, medium intensity downdraft winds are forecast for parts of the Al Hajar Mountains starting at 12:00 PM, and in the deserts of Al Wusta and Dhofar starting at 06:00 PM.

Active winds of medium intensity are also set to affect Al Jazir, Duqm, Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, Sadah, Shaleem and Al Hallaniyat, Mahout, and Masirah starting at 08:00 AM.

Furthermore, limited intensity thunderstorms are expected in Al Mazyunah, Thumrait, Maqshin, and Haima starting at 06:00 PM, while limited intensity rainfall is forecast for Rakhyut, Salalah, Dhalkut, Taqah, and Mirbat starting at 12:00 PM.
