Salalah – Entrepreneurs in Dhofar shared their experiences of building startups, securing finance and navigating competition at a dialogue session organised by the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development on Monday.

Held under the title ‘Leadership Talk’, the session brought together entrepreneurs to discuss their journeys and lessons learnt in developing businesses.

Discussions focused on turning ideas into viable ventures, using technology and innovation to develop solutions that respond to market needs, and addressing challenges linked to growth and financing.

Participants also examined competition, expansion into new markets and opportunities to strengthen the startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Dhofar.

The session formed part of the authority’s efforts to promote entrepreneurship and create platforms where business owners can exchange experiences with aspiring entrepreneurs and members of the community.

Such initiatives are intended to support the development and growth of startups and small and medium enterprises by encouraging knowledge-sharing and greater engagement within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
