Yanqul – Construction has officially begun on Itlalat Yanqul, a landmark development by Dhahirah Municipality aimed at enriching recreational spaces and boosting local investment. Strategically positioned along the Sohar-Yanqul Road at Al Nahda Square, the project spans 120,704sqm, with 65,000sqm allocated for development.

Eng Abdullah bin Suleiman al Hashemi, Director of Yanqul Municipality, highlighted the project’s key features, including lush green spaces, an open-air theatre, cafés, playgrounds, water fountains, walking paths, and barbecue areas. 

Additionally, prayer rooms and other essential amenities will be incorporated to ensure a comfortable visitor experience.

With an investment of RO1.68mn, Itlalat Yanqul aligns with Dhahirah governorate’s vision to enhance community well-being, promote sustainable development, and showcase the region’s natural beauty. The project is scheduled for completion within a year and is expected to become a significant recreational and social hub for residents and visitors alike.
