Budding artists from ISG curate art exhibition

14 Jan 2025

Muscat – The Muscat Waterfront Mall recently hosted the debut of ‘Itsy Bitsy Artsy,’ an art exhibition that beautifully showcased the creativity and talent of young artists. Launched on January 3, 2025, the event featured over 50 artworks by four budding artists from ISG International.

The exhibition highlighted the diversity of artistic perspectives among young creators, with displays ranging from abstract landscapes to thought-provoking still-life images. The students experimented with a variety of mediums, including oil pastels, watercolors, canvas, and paper.

Visitors were captivated not only by the bold use of color and innovative techniques but also by the powerful messages conveyed through the art.

What began as a simple classroom discussion between Art and Design students of the Cambridge Curriculum Bhavini Khanduja, Kavya Patni, Natasha Mankodi, and Reya Baiju, along with their teacher Ms. Deepal Gheewala, evolved into this vibrant exhibition.

Their friend Meghnaa Singaravel volunteered to organise the event. The students also acknowledged the unwavering support from the management of the Waterfront Mall, which played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the exhibition.

The opening night, inaugurated by Paresh Shah of Shah Nagardas Group, was a resounding success. Visitors from all walks of life—art lovers, students, educators, tourists, and even government officials—came out in full force to support the next generation of artists. The students shared their excitement about the event, noting that nearly 80% of their artworks had been sold. They also expressed enthusiasm for future opportunities, with plans for more collaborative exhibitions.

The exhibition was open to the public until January 11.
