Muscat – As part of the celebrations of the day His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik took the reins of power in the sultanate on January 11 five years ago, the Secretariat General for National Celebrations has announced the launch of an emblem of ‘Oman’s Renewed Renaissance’.
The emblem depicts features denoting the five years in which His Majesty the Sultan established the five basic pillars of the country – social development, youth, economy, decentralisation and governance.
The emblem depicts overlapping circles that reflect the vitality of decision-making and implementation. The top line indicates constant implementation through plans characterised by flexibility and commitment to improvement while symbolising the harmony of all vital sectors.
