Muscat – The Foreign  Ministry  has continued implementing arrangements to facilitate the return of Omani citizens from abroad in light of the current developments in the region, in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Sultanate of Oman.

As part of these efforts, a group of Omani citizens safely arrived in the Sultanate from the Iran through organised air transport arrangements. The operation was carried out in coordination with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Tehran as part of the ministry’s approved plan to ensure the smooth return of citizens.

The Foreign Ministry said the move comes within ongoing measures to assist Omani nationals abroad and facilitate their safe return home amid the evolving regional situation.

The ministry affirmed that it continues to monitor the conditions of Omani citizens overseas around the clock through its diplomatic missions and in coordination with the relevant authorities, stressing its commitment to ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

Officials added that the ministry remains ready to take further steps if necessary, while maintaining continuous communication with Omani nationals abroad to provide assistance and guidance whenever required.
