As part of its efforts to complete an inspection campaign targeting the sultanate’s farms and to ensure compliance with the correct agricultural requirements, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF) has carried out a campaign on farms and stores in the wilayats of Ibra and Al Qabel in North Sharqiyah.

The ministry said, ‘Specialists in the Directorate General of Agriculture and Livestock carried out inspection in the wilayats of Ibra and Al Qabel.

‘The visits included agricultural supplies stores, private veterinary clinics, pharmacies and farms.’

The ministry said the campaign is targeting all wilayats of North and South Sharqiyah governorates in order to ensure compliance with the proper agricultural requirements and practices, as well as compliance with the laws of pesticides and fertilisers as well as adhering to the system of practising veterinary profession in private clinics.
