H E Mohammed bin Salim al Harthy, Omani Ambassador to Korea, graced an event where the Korean translation of the children’s book Oman: Homeland of Sinbad and Frankincense Land was issued.
The ceremony on Sunday was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions, directors of the Institute of Middle Eastern Studies at Myongji University and a multi-cultural museum, and a group of academics and university professors.
The book was prepared and published in the Korean language, in cooperation between the embassy and the multi-cultural museum. It is a simplified introductory book dedicated to children and includes general information about the sultanate and its geographical location. It highlights the modern renaissance of the sultanate and reviews historical, cultural and artistic aspects.
