Muscat – Oman, represented by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), will participate in the ninth edition of the International Food, Beverage and Hospitality Exhibition in Saudi Arabia (Horeca 2019).  It will be held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 26 to 28. 

The exhibition will see participation of around 370 companies representing more than 40 countries. Madayn’s participation comes as part of its Made in Oman Campaign of promoting locally manufactured products. The campaign aims at encouraging consumers – both individuals and organisations – to choose locally manufactured products underscoring the capabilities of Omani companies to compete locally and internationally. 

It focuses on the sale of Omani products and its direct contribution to the national economy. Horeca 2019 will feature a variety of activities and shows including workshops, culinary art shows, a barista competition, among other activities.  Live cooking sessions by celebrity chefs and a world-class barista competition will also be part of the event. 

The event will attract exhibitors and key industry players at local and international levels.
