Muscat – The Ministry of Health will host the Oman International Pharmaceutical Conference and Exhibition (OIPCX) on Monday. The event will be held under the theme ‘From Cost to Value-Based Healthcare: Integrating Clinical Audit and Pharmacoeconomics’.

The forum will be inaugurated under the patronage of H E Dr Hilal bin Ali bin Hilal al Sabti, Minister of Health, and will be attended by several ministry officials.

The conference will feature 46 international, Gulf, and local speakers who will present 43 working papers on the latest developments in pharmaceutical practice.

In addition, there will be four specialised workshops focused on health economics. The event will also include an exhibition showcasing products from leading international pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and pharmacies in Oman.
