Muscat – Experience Oman, the marketing platform created by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT), has announced a partnership with the sultanate’s No 1 racing driver Ahmad al Harthy for a unique global promotion of Oman through motorsport.

Harthy, who competes successfully in the globe’s two biggest and most competitive GT3 level endurance categories, the FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 class and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, is thrilled to welcome the support of Experience Oman.

‘With a goal to make Oman a go-to destination for tourists from all over the world, Experience Oman’s partnership with Harthy and his team Oman Racing marks a key opportunity to achieve this in one of the most glamorous, exciting and passionate sports on the planet,’ a press statement said.

Collaboration between Experience Oman and Harthy will help MHT build and develop promotion of the sultanate. 

Racing a dual campaign this year – in the FIA World Endurance Championship, where he drives as team-mate to global sporting icon Valentino Rossi in a BMW M4 LMGT3, and in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup, where he races a sister BMW with the OQ by Oman Racing squad – Harthy’s profile will provide major benefits for Experience Oman.
