Muscat –Two infiltrators were arrested as they were trying to unload more than 70kg of cannabis on a beach in Muscat governorate.

In a statement, Royal Oman Police (ROP), ‘The General Department of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, managed to arrest two infiltrators while they were trying to unload a quantity of cannabis.’

‘The drugs weighed more than 73kg. Legal procedures are being completed against them,” it added.
