Jumeirah Muscat Bay has opened its doors to guests. Part of the luxury hospitality chain Jumeirah Group, this is the first resort of the brand in Oman located at Bandar Jissah.
Speaking exclusively to Muscat Daily, Zeki Ozal, general manager of the property, said, “Jumeirah Muscat Bay is a haven of tranquility, exceptional dining and the perfect setting to discover the natural wonders and cultural heritage of Oman. The property offers 195 spacious rooms, suites villas and summerhouses, all assuring breath-taking ocean views.”

Ozal informed that the pandemic delayed the opening. “COVID-19 had a huge impact on the hospitality industry worldwide, but Jumeirah Group maintained a strategy of proactive investment throughout the pandemic, the expansion into Oman being one of its new developments. We opened recently and have seen a good pick-up. We also expect a good influx of tourists during World Cup Qatar 2022 though November is also peak season here.”
Attractions at Jumeirah Muscat Bay include celebrated pedicure and manicure experts at The Cure Studio by Bastien Gonzalez, the award-winning Talise Spa and the five dining options – Peridot International Restaurant, Zuka Restaurant & Pool Bar, Tarini Lounge, Anzo Asian Bar, and Brezza Restaurant and Rooftop Lounge, all with sea facing views.
The property also has secluded summerhouses in two- and four-bedroom configurations as well as villas, with private pools, dedicated butler service and access to exclusive private beaches.
“The resort is stamped with the Jumeirah signature – innovative dining concepts, great service and exhilarating experiences – elevating the resort landscape in the sultanate. We place our guests at the heart of all we do and we are focused on making the ordinary, extraordinary for our guests,” Ozal added.
Highlighting the uniqueness of the property, he went on saying that “surprising design and architecture with modern arabesque design features throughout the resort ensure that Oman’s natural beauty takes centre stage and its interiors elegantly blend traditional Omani craftsmanship with light and modern hotel design”.
