Nizwa- Work on the new Samail Hospital project has reached about 90% completion, with final finishing works and preparations for various departments currently under way.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year, paving the way for trial operations and the start of receiving patients.

The hospital will initially have a capacity of 170 beds, with provision for future expansion to 300 beds.

The new facility is expected to ease pressure on Nizwa Hospital and reduce the need to refer critical cases to hospitals in other wilayats.

Officials said the project is progressing at a steady pace, with the focus now on completing the final works and preparing the hospital for operation.
