Perth, Scotland – The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) band won the overall first place at the World Music Competition held in Perth, Scotland.

The RAFO band also won first place in the bagpipe and second in the drum category.

In addition, the RAFO team won the top three places in the individual baton-bearers’ competition. Warrant Officer Mohammed bin Khamis Al Amri took first place, followed by Staff Sgt Mahmoud bin Yousuf Al Sinani in second place and Capt Humaid bin Sulaiman Al Ghafri in third.

These accomplishments reflect Oman’s high standards of artistic skills and discipline related to military music, highlighting the country’s strong presence in the global arena.
