Muscat – The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) has issued an official announcement requiring the owners of specific vessels to recover and remove them from their current locations within 30 days.

The directive concerns the vessel “SEA LIGHT,” which is currently stranded in the Al Joud area near the coast of the Wilayat of Suwaiq, as well as various vessels currently moored beside the wooden boatyard at Khor Al-Batah in the Wilayat of Sur.

The Ministry has stated that failure to comply with this notice within the stipulated timeframe will result in the initiation of necessary legal procedures in accordance with the provisions of the Omani Maritime Law.
