Muscat – The Foreign Ministry has announced the launch of the thirteenth phase of its electronic attestation service, a move designed to enhance consular provisions and support the digital transformation goals of Oman Vision 2040. This initiative aims to simplify procedures by digitising services, allowing users to obtain document certifications without the requirement to physically visit the Sultanate’s missions in the participating countries.
The expansion will be implemented in two distinct stages throughout May 2026. Starting from May 14, the service will be available in the Republic of Singapore, Malaysia, the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, the United States of America, the Federative Republic of Brazil, and the Republic of Iraq. Subsequently, from May 21, the service will extend to the Lebanese Republic, the Syrian Arab Republic, the State of Palestine, and the Tunisian Republic.
Initially launched on January 23, 2025, the electronic attestation service continues to grow through ongoing cooperation with Oman Post. The Ministry remains committed to further expanding the scope of this digital service to include more brotherly and friendly nations in accordance with its established operational roadmap.
