USA – United States State Department is set to introduce a new version of the national passport featuring an image of President Donald Trump. According to the Washington Post, this initiative is designed to coincide with the 250th anniversary of American independence in July. Administration officials have confirmed that the President’s likeness will appear on an internal page, overlaid with the text of the Declaration of Independence and the American flag, accompanied by his signature in gold.

The new design is part of a broader series of commemorative measures marking the country’s semiquincentennial. Other pages in the limited-edition document will include historical imagery, such as the Founding Fathers signing the original Declaration of Independence. While the State Department maintains that the new passports will feature the same high-level security as standard versions, the inclusion of the President’s image has drawn significant attention.

For citizens who prefer the traditional design, officials stated that the existing passport will remain available through online renewals or at regional agencies outside of Washington. However, those applying in person at the Washington Passport Agency will receive the commemorative edition until the limited supply is exhausted. This development follows other recent moves to feature the President’s name or image on federal assets, including national park passes and proposed commemorative coinage.
