Salalah – Royal Oman Police (ROP) has launched a comprehensive public safety campaign emphasising essential road etiquette and vehicle compliance for motorists.

The advisory highlights several core principles to protect drivers and passengers during travel. Motorists are urged to strictly maintain their designated lanes while driving to ensure orderly traffic flow and prevent accidents. Drivers must also ensure their vehicles remain clean to maintain clear visibility through all windows and mirrors.

Furthermore, the authorities have cautioned against excessive vehicle noise, noting that loud exhaust modifications can disturb the peace and spoil the tranquil environment for everyone nearby. Finally, the campaign strongly reminds parents and guardians to keep children safely secured inside vehicles at all times, preventing them from leaning out of windows to avoid severe risks and ensure complete safety on the roads.
