Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition returns to Salalah

Salalah – The ninth Omani-Bahraini Products Exhibition will open at Gardens Mall in Salalah on August 1, bringing together small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from both countries to promote trade, investment and business partnerships.

Organised by the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association in cooperation with the Embassy of Bahrain in Oman, the exhibition will run till August 8 and is part of efforts to strengthen the longstanding economic and commercial ties between the two countries.

The event aims to provide SMEs with a platform to showcase their products, expand into new markets and establish direct links with consumers and potential business partners. It also seeks to encourage the exchange of expertise and create new investment opportunities.

H E Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of Bahrain to Oman, said the exhibition reflects the commitment of both countries to support SMEs and deepen bilateral economic cooperation. He noted that previous editions had resulted in around 560 partnerships between Omani and Bahraini enterprises.

He added that the exhibition also supports the implementation of agreements reached through the Joint Omani-Bahraini Committee and bilateral memoranda of understanding.

Radina bint Amer Al Hajri, President of the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association, said the exhibition plays an important role in strengthening SME partnerships while creating business and employment opportunities.

Around 30 SMEs are participating, showcasing products including fashion, perfumes, incense, Omani frankincense, Omani sweets, accessories, handicrafts and other heritage products from both countries.
