Muscat – Food Safety and Quality Centre (FSQC) announced that it will begin accepting licensing applications for several critical food product categories. This new procedure is specifically designed for stakeholders including producers, manufacturers, importers, and commercial establishments operating within the food industry.
The targeted categories for these licences include infant and young child milk formulas, food products for special medical purposes, and various nutritional supplements. The application process is scheduled to commence on August 2. All relevant organisations are advised to submit their required documentation electronically to the designated email address provided by the authorities.
This development reflects the centre’s commitment to ensuring rigorous oversight and maintaining high safety standards across the national food supply chain.
