Izki – Dakhliyah has announced a new investment opportunity for the development and operations of a public square in the wilayat of Izki, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance community facilities, attract private sector investment and support sustainable urban development across the governorate.

According to the tender announcement, the project is located on Plot No 154 in the Al Ghail area of Izki and covers a total area of 7,579sqm. The investment contract will be offered for a period of 25 years, providing investors a long-term opportunity to develop and manage a modern public destination that serves residents and visitors alike.

The governorate has allocated a two-year grace period for construction and preparation works, allowing the selected investor sufficient time to complete the development and establish the required facilities before commencing operations.

The project is expected to contribute to the enhancement of public spaces in Izki by creating an attractive environment for recreational, social and commercial activities. It also aligns with broader efforts to encourage investment in municipal assets and support economic diversification through partnerships with the private sector.

Officials said the initiative reflects Dakhliyah’s commitment to improving quality of life, developing urban infrastructure and creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors. The project is anticipated to stimulate economic activity in the surrounding areas while providing residents a modern venue for community gatherings and events.
