Dhofar – Environment Authority (EA) has successfully apprehended three citizens for violating national wildlife protection laws. The individuals were found to have engaged in the illegal hunting of wild birds, an act that constitutes a clear breach of the environmental regulations and statutes currently in force within Oman.
Following the seizure of the illegal catch, the Environment Authority confirmed that the necessary legal procedures have been initiated against the offenders. In an official statement, the Authority stressed the importance of adhering to all environmental laws and regulations. Officials have urged the public to actively participate in the conservation of Oman’s natural environment and to refrain from harming wild creatures, warning that such actions will result in legal accountability.
