Nizwa – Judicial enforcement officers from the Consumer Protection Department in Dakhliyah Governorate seized 937 non-compliant products during field inspections at a number of commercial establishments in Nizwa as part of the Back-to-School Campaign.

The seized products included 321 school notebooks containing images and phrases contrary to public morals, and 616 children’s toys and pens featuring images of skulls and skeletons.

The products were confiscated and legal procedures were initiated against the violators in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law and its Executive Regulation.

The Consumer Protection Authority reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying market inspections and monitoring to curb unlawful practices and prevent the circulation of non-compliant products.

It also urged members of the public to report violations through the authority’s official communication channels.
