Khasab – Oman is participating in WorldFood Moscow 2026, to be held in the Russian capital from September 15 to 18, with 16 Omani companies seeking to expand their presence in the Russian and Central Asian markets.

The participation is organised under the Oman Exports initiative of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, which supports national non-oil enterprises in accessing new markets and connecting with importers, distributors and buyers.

The Omani companies are showcasing the diversity and quality of national products, while exploring new distribution channels, establishing business relationships and identifying commercial opportunities and partnerships.

The participation also highlights Oman as a reliable source of food and halal products and supports efforts to strengthen the competitiveness and international reach of Omani non-oil exports.

Zakia bint Abdullah Al Amri, Trade Information Specialist at Oman Exports, said the participation represents an important step in consolidating the presence of Omani products in a promising market.

She said the exhibition provides national companies with an opportunity to engage directly with international importers, distributors and buyers, explore new export avenues and establish sustainable business partnerships.
