Muscat – Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has formally addressed and dismissed circulating rumours regarding extreme temperature recordings in the Sultanate. In an official statement issued, the authority clarified that information recently spread across social media platforms, which suggested temperature readings significantly higher than those officially documented, is entirely inaccurate.

The authority has reiterated the importance of relying solely on verified data provided through its official communication channels, specifically those managed by the national meteorological services. By refuting these unofficial reports, the Civil Aviation Authority aims to prevent public confusion and ensure that citizens and residents remain informed through accurate and authenticated weather updates.
