Muscat – Al Maha Overseas (AMO) organised a special Qaranqasho celebration on March 4 at the Pediatric Oncology/ Hematology Department, Royal Hospital, Muscat, as part of its Ramadan Community Care initiative.
The event was arranged to bring comfort, joy, and a sense of togetherness to children undergoing cancer treatment. In the spirit of Ramadan, Al Maha Overseas employees and volunteers spent time with the young patients and their families, sharing traditional treats and gifts while creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere within the hospital ward. A time centered on compassion, generosity, and community solidarity.
Speaking on the occasion, a representative from Al Maha Overseas stated, “Ramadan reminds us of our responsibility toward the community. Through Qaranqasho, we hoped to bring moments of happiness and encouragement to the children and their families. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference. Through initiatives such as Qaranqasho, AMO continues to strengthen its role as a responsible corporate citizen, guided by values of compassion, service, and community partnership.

Representatives from AMO expressed their appreciation to the management and medical team of Royal Hospital for their cooperation and for the dedicated care they provide to pediatric oncology patients.
