Muscat – The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources has released a comprehensive report detailing the distribution of rainfall across several wilayats in the Sultanate of Oman. This data covers the period from March 20 to March 26. The figures indicate a significant weather event that has brought varying levels of precipitation to numerous regions throughout the country.
The highest volume of rainfall was documented in Ibra, where the measurement reached an impressive 292mm. This peak was followed by substantial totals in Bahla with 212mm and Al Mudhaibi with 190mm. Other areas such as Dima W’attayeen and Al Qabil also recorded high figures of 188mm and 186mm respectively. The data shows that the impact of the rain was widespread, stretching from the northern governorates down to the southern regions.
Lower but still notable measurements were recorded in places like Muscat with 69mm and Salalah with 34mm. Meanwhile, some areas like Muqshin and Taqah saw minimal rainfall of only 1mm.
