Tehran – The Islamic Republic of Iran has officially declined a peace plan proposed by the United States regarding the ongoing conflict in West Asia. In a formal statement addressing the rejection, Iranian authorities outlined a specific framework of five mandatory conditions that must be met before any cessation of hostilities can be finalised.

Central to Iran’s demands is the requirement for a comprehensive conclusion to the war across all active fronts, involving every resistance group currently engaged throughout the region. Furthermore, the Iranian government is seeking international recognition and legal guarantees concerning its sovereign authority over the Strait of Hormuz.

The proposal for peace is further complicated by demands for a complete termination of all aggressive actions and assassinations carried out by opposing forces. Iran has also called for the establishment of robust, concrete mechanisms to ensure that conflict is not reimposed upon the nation in the future. Finally, the administration has stipulated that any agreement must include a clearly defined and guaranteed schedule for the payment of war damages and reparations.
