Egypt – President Abdel Fattah el Sisi of Egypt met with Dr Mohammed Said al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, on Tuesday in Cairo. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 36th International Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, which brings together ministers, muftis, and heads of Islamic councils from across the globe. The discussions highlighted the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Oman and Egypt and their shared commitment to promoting moderate Islamic values.

During the audience, the President and the Minister explored the enduring role of Islamic principles in contemporary society, particularly how these values interact with modern technological shifts and contribute to human development.
