Muscat – The mortal remains of Aditya Sharma and Shivanand Chaurasiya, who tragically lost their lives during the attack on the tanker MT Settebello, have been successfully repatriated to India. The Indian Embassy in Oman confirmed the return of the deceased mariners, expressing profound condolences to the families affected by this devastating maritime incident.

The vessel, which was operating in the Gulf of Oman, had come under fire following allegations that it violated a naval blockade. While 21 of the 24 Indian crew members were rescued, the tragic loss of these individuals has prompted significant diplomatic concern regarding the safety of commercial shipping in the region.
