Rustaq – Royal Oman Police (ROP) has released an official statement requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Bangladeshi national, identified as Akter Jahan. According to the report, the individual departed from her family home in the Wilayat of Rustaq on May 31, 2026 and has not been seen or heard from since that date.

The authorities are treating the matter with urgency and have called upon anyone with relevant information to come forward to assist with the ongoing search efforts. Members of the public who may have seen the individual or possess any information regarding her current whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Police Operations Centre immediately by dialling 9999 or by visiting the nearest police station. The Royal Oman Police has expressed its appreciation to the community for their cooperation in this matter.
