Nakhal – The Nakhal Public Park development project in South Batinah governorate has reached 80 percent completion rate. This comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the Governorate Municipality, the South Batinah Governor’s Office and the Municipal Council to upgrade recreational and service facilities in the governorate’s wilayats.

The project is being implemented on a suitable area that allows for a variety of uses, at an estimated cost of approximately RO459,000, and is expected to be completed during the last quarter of 2025.

The implementation of this project falls within the framework of the South Batinah Municipality’s plans to improve the quality of life and enhance infrastructure in the governorates, in line with the objectives of “Oman Vision 2040” in the field of sustainable urban development.

The project includes a number of integrated facilities, most notably children’s play areas, extensive green spaces, the rehabilitation of the open-air theater, the construction of prayer rooms for men and women, water fountains, shaded walking paths, and investment sites designated for small and medium-sized enterprises.
