Muscat – Oman hosted the first meeting of the Oman-Britain Strategic Consultative Group for 2025 on Wednesday at Oman Across Ages Museum in Manah, Dakhliyah. Discussions centred on strengthening bilateral ties with focus on investment, business development and exploring opportunities for collaboration in key sectors.
The meeting addressed strategies to enhance investment cooperation between the two nations, targeting sectors such as scientific innovation, green energy and knowledge transfer. Participants also discussed ways to promote national identity and effective communication, underscoring the importance of collaboration in these areas.
Omani officials and representatives from the UK, including government officials, private sector delegates and consultants, attended the meeting, reflecting the commitment of both nations to deepen economic, investment and developmental partnerships, building on their strong bilateral relations.
On the sidelines, workshops and technical sessions were held to explore sector-specific frameworks that align skills and competencies with labour market demands.
