Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) have made significant arrests in two separate operations, reinforcing their commitment to combating crime in the Sultanate.
In South Batinah, the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department, in coordination with the Coast Guard Police, apprehended two Asian nationals in possession of more than 100 kilograms of crystal meth and 100,000 psychotropic substance capsules. Legal proceedings are currently underway against the suspects.
Meanwhile, the Oil and Gas Facilities Security Police Command arrested four individuals for the theft of metal pipes from a concession area. Authorities are finalising legal measures against them.
The ROP continues to intensify its efforts to safeguard society and maintain public security.
