Muscat – President Aleksandr Lukashenko of the Republic of Belarus will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman later today.

A statement to this effect was issued by the Diwan of Royal Court. It reads as follows:

‘Within the context of enhancing and promoting the bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus in various spheres, President Aleksandr Lukashenko of the Republic of Belarus will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, starting from Saturday, December 14, 2024.

‘The visit comes in pursuance of serving the two countries’ interests in a manner that meets their aspirations for further prosperity and growth.

‘The visit will explore aspects of cooperation between the two countries and means of promoting them, in addition to exchanging views on a set of regional and international developments.’
