Muscat – The Environment Authority (EA) and the Royal Oman Police have arrested poachers for hunting an Arabian gazelle in Buraimi on Monday.

In a statement, EA said, ‘Environment Authority in Buraimi governorate, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, arrested citizens for hunting an Arabian gazelle. All confiscated items were seized and referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures.’

The Environment Authority calls on everyone to preserve wildlife and avoid actions that may lead to legal accountability.
