Oman, Poland sign pact on mutual exemption of visas

Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Poland signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption of diplomatic, special and service passports in the capital city of Warsaw on Tuesday. 

H E Sheikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs in the Foreign Ministry chaired the Omani side, whilst Pavel Yablonsky, Deputy Foreign Minister chaired the Polish side. Munthir Mahfoudh al Manthri, Head of the Europe Department at the Foreign Ministry also attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations and means of promoting them in various areas and also exchanged views on a set of regional and international issues. The two sides explored means of boosting economic and investment cooperation between Oman and Poland.

Meanwhile, H E Harthy met Zbigniew Rau, Foreign Minister of Poland, during which the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries.

He also met Kamila Król, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and Paweł Kurtasz, Chairman of the Management Board of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
