Salalah – Sultan’s Special Force (SSF) celebrated its Annual Day and graduation of a new batch of recruits on Wednesday.

The ceremony was held at the military parade ground in SSF Garrison in Zeek, Dhofar under the patronage of Gen Sultan Mohammed al Nu’amani, Minister of Royal Office.

Upon his arrival at the ground, Gen Nu’amani was received by Maj Gen Musallam Mohammed Ja’aboub, SSF Commander.

After that, the Royal Guard of Oman’s music band played the Royal Anthem, following which the graduates saluted the chief guest, who inspected their column.

Gen Nu’amani pinned medals of excellent service and Royal Commendation on a number of senior SSF officers, as well as commissioned and non-commissioned officers.

The ceremony was attended by ministers, commanders of Sultan’s Armed Forces, heads of military and security units in Dhofar, as well as senior and retired SSF officers.

On the occasion, the SSF Commander pinned medals for long service, good conduct and special service on a number of SSF commissioned and non-commissioned officers.
