Salalah – H E Salem bin Mohammed al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, visited a number of tourist sites in Dhofar on Wednesday.

A statement said, ‘The Minister of Heritage and Tourism paid a field visit to follow up on the construction work of the waterfront development projects of Al Husn and Al Haffa markets.’

The two projects in Salalah are being implemented by Muscat National Development and Investment Company (ASAAS).

‘His Excellency and his delegation visited several other tourist sites, including the Hamreer Talalat project and the Ain Garziz development project.’

In June, Dhofar Municipality signed a deal with Omran for the development of six tourist sites in Dhofar, including the Ateen Gardens project (camping sites) and Al Mughsail Beach project.
