As part of its strategic role as a catalyst of growth in the tourism sector across Oman, Omran Group developed the first integrated rest area ‘Aber’ on the Quriyat-Sur highway to serve and enhance domestic tourism.
The project, which has been completed, provides travellers all the essential public services needed and Omran has announced the leasing process of the project’s retail outlets.
‘Omran Group invites local companies and SMEs to register their interest in leasing a wide array of retail outlets at Aber Integrated Rest Area. The commercial building provides an opportunity for the leasing of approximately 600sqm of retail space,’ Omran said.
Omran, the executive arm of the sultanate responsible for delivering the objectives of the 2040 National Tourism Strategy, said that the location features key facilities with high visibility on the Quriyat-Sur highway.
The retail opportunities cover a wide variety of business activities, including but not limited to cafes and restaurants, car maintenance services, cosmetics and accessories shops, pharmacies, handicrafts and gift stores, camping and adventure gear shops and other tourism-related recreational services and activities.
The site offers opportunities to food truck owners to enhance the visitor experience.
‘Interested businesses can send an email to [email protected] along with a request letter expressing interest, a copy of a valid commercial registration, company profile, experience and achievements and any suggested supporting documents.’
