Heavy rain lashed Musandam, Buraimi and North Batinah governorates on Wednesday morning, according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA). PACA confirmed that wadis overflowed due to rain and low cloud and fog spread over parts of South Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.
The rest of the governorate witnessed clear to partly cloudy skies. Data collected from the rain monitoring stations of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources, shows that the highest rainfall was recorded in Khasab at 43mm followed by Bukha (41mm), Dibba (24mm) and Madha (6mm).
The data collected was recorded from Tuesday till Wednesday morning in the Governorate of Musandam. The ROP has urged people to be vigilant and avoid venturing into wadis.
