Oman marks World Day to Combat Desertification

Oman, represented by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs (MECA), is celebrated the World Day to Combat Desertification, which falls on June 17 every year. The theme this year is 'We Shouldn't Leave Our Future to Drought.' It has been estimated that 100mn to 200mn people live in arid and semi-arid areas with limited resources.

Muscat conference highlights need for integrated security solutions

Oman's State Council to hold its ninth session today

Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Manthri, chairman of the State Council, will chair its regular meeting on Tuesday. 321 illegal workers held in Oman

Data released by the joint inspection team at the Ministry of Manpower shows that 321 workers were caught violating the Labour Law between June 9 and 15, a press release stated. This includes 269 commercial workers, 24 farm workers, and 28 housemaids and their equivalents

MoCS conducts online test to fill vacancies
