Muscat – The Royal Navy of Oman will celebrate tomorrow, Wednesday, the grand reception of the ship “Shabab Oman II” at the Said bin Sultan Naval Base, marking the conclusion of its seventh international voyage, Majd al-Bihar 225.

The ceremony will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Sultan bin Salem al Habsi, Minister of Finance, in the presence of senior officers, officials, and invitees from various sectors.

During its recent voyage, Shabab Oman II visited several ports across the European continent, proudly carrying Oman’s noble message of peace, friendship, and cultural exchange. The ship served as a floating ambassador, introducing the world to the ancient Omani maritime heritage and the eternal maritime glories that have long connected Oman to nations across the seas.

Since its commissioning, Shabab Oman II has played a significant role in enhancing international relations, showcasing Oman’s seafaring traditions, and strengthening cultural ties through goodwill visits and participation in global maritime events.

The Royal Navy of Oman continues to uphold this legacy of maritime excellence, with Shabab Oman II standing as a symbol of national pride and Omani identity on the world’s oceans.
