Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a telephone call on Sunday from King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The two leaders reviewed perspectives on several current issues of mutual interest and means of achieving peace and security in the region. They also discussed ways of boosting cooperation and partnership in various economic and investment sectors to serve mutual interests and enhance the fraternal bonds between the two sides.

His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere wishes of good health and wellbeing to the king. He also wished the people of Bahrain further stability and prosperity.

On his turn, the King of Bahrain wished His Majesty success in realising the aspirations of the Omani people of development and progress at all levels.
